"Elvira's Cafe is better than good; it is great! The food was spectacular! The service was memorable in a wonderful way! Everything is homemade. My wife got the chicken and waffles. Her plate was beautiful, and I got a little taste of it. It was delicious! I had The Scrambler breakfast meal, and it was just as satisfying as the chicken and waffles. The hashbrown casserole was also amazing!"

Locally Sourced Ingredients

We support local food producers and take pride in bringing to you the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Take for example our ham steak or bacon. Both are sourced from Benton’s Smoky Mountain Country Hams in Madisonville - a local staple for the best pork products that's been in operation since 1973. This bacon is so good that even the nicest restaurants in the country serve it on their menus.

Our famous crepes are based on buckwheat flour purchased from the Old Mill General Store in Pigeon Forge, TN. If you haven't visited this historic landmark, we highly recommend you do so. It's one of the last operating grist mills in the area and has been grinding corn meal since 1875. The store also sells a variety of local jams, honey, and syrups that we use to top off our crepes.

"10 stars!! We went to pick up and it was ready in 5 minutes. The Mountain Man Omelet is incredible! The biscuits and sausage gravy are to die for. We also got the nana/strawberry/Nutella crepe for dessert. Needless to say, our bellies are full and super happy. This place is a MUST for breakfast!"

"Great service. Food came out fast and was hot and delicious. My Philly was one of the best I’ve had and the chicken and waffles were amazing. Just happened to stumble upon this cafe on our way back from the national park and it hit the spot. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning."
