"We've driven by this place quite often on our trips to East TN but never stopped until now. We ate dinner here one evening then breakfast the next morning! For dinner, I got the Fried Trout with cinnamon apples & mashed potatoes & husband got the Chicken & Waffles! We were both pleased with our meals! The waffles have a very unique taste and the mashed potatoes were definitely the real deal! Breakfast was a great meal too! My husband loved his Crêpe while I enjoyed the haystack! Love that they use a lot of local ingredients! "

"This was suggested to us by someone, it was a nice drive to Wears Valley and the restaurant was friendly, clean, and enjoyable. Biscuits and Gravy were tasty and eggs and bacon were made to order. This place gets packed so be prepared to wait a couple of minutes on the weekend. We would come back."
-Chirs from Deltona, FL
"Best brunch in Wears Valley. Great selection, from sweet & savory crepes to omelets to biscuits & gravy. Great service too!"
-Charlie from Maryville, TN
"If you love home-cooked food and find yourself in the area, this is a must-visit restaurant. Hands down the best waffles I've ever had in the 52 years God has blessed me with. Everything about this place (staff, food, location) is top-notch. I can't say enough positive things about my visit to this seemingly hidden gem off the beaten tourist path."
-Robert from St. Louis, MO
"One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Very attentive staff and the young girl who was our waitress acted like a 20-year veteran. She was prompt, courteous, and well-spoken. She took care of us like we were her own family. Young Russian girl. The food came to us pretty quick, hot and she kept our coffees full for us. I will go there again and again when I am down there. Haven't had the pleasure of a lunch or supper there, but I think I need to try."
